I am no longer behind with the nail posts as these are my current designs, a bit out grown now so expect a new post soon -ish. You know what i'm like for posting loads one week then not again for donkeys years. I love these nails because they go with everything and are quite chic. 

This is quite easy to do, all it is is 2 layers of my colour, in this case nude, and whilst the top coat is still wet, dabbing glitter from the pot onto the bottom of the nail using my finger. No wacky methods here ;)  Then to keep the glitter on, just use a topcoat. Mine is from Rimmel London.  

Hope everyone's weeks aren't too dreadful and are staying relatively dry ;)

This is actually a really easy effect to do, though quite time consuming haha. All it needs is a make -up sponge and lots of time where you're not touching anything.

Had a huge photo sesh today so there will no longer be week gaps between my posts ( I hope ) because I hate when I don't post. A bit of a before back to college creative splurge before it starts draining me.

Anyway I thought these nails match almost perfectly with the piece of amethyst i've had since I was about 11. I've had a crystal collection since I was a little girl and now I have no idea what to do with them apart from photograph them.

I am soooo unphotogenic it's really not amusing while trying to take photos for my blog. -.-  This is the only decent picture with my face in it from about 50!  Anyway it's a nice sunny day so i'm off out to enjoy it and chill. :)

Another nail post!!

My mum originally tried this design, but decided she liked bright colours better and said it was really 'me' but I haven't got round to trying it until now, so I suppose I can't take all of the credit :(

It makes a good difference to having loud nails, I don't have to wear understated outfits to make sure not to clash with them which is rather refreshing :D

Marbled Pastels

These nails are so un- me, I usually just go for one colour but I thought i'd try something new and exciting, so here it is :D

Instead of marble-ing straight onto my nail, I came up with the colour theme on a plastic wallet and marbled onto that with a thick layer of nail varnish, then cut out the shape of my nail.

.. Surprisingly I never actually put pink into the marble mixture, it sort of just appeared :/

Hope everyone had fun celebrating the queen's jubilee! I did :)

I got this amazing new Barry M magnetic nail varnish for my birthday! :D  Also in red, thanks Mummy!

I was really stuck with what arty photo I could match with these nails, and then I thought.. Water!! The swirly patterns are just like water. It took me a while to get a perfect shot, but was worth it in the end as usual :)

Feelin' so chilled now i've done most of my exams and it's my birthday on Tuesday :D although I already know what my parents are getting me as I chose this pair of Russel and Bromley shoes when we went to London months ago and i've not been able to have them since! D:  Ahh well at least I know i'm gonna love them.

My Model's Own pastel set finally came!!  £10 off :D  I recently decided to have really short nails and it's helped me realise how bad my long nails looked! :( They look so much neater :) This idea is inspired from Kim's bow nails at Sweet Monday. Hope you like!

Grandmothers Locket

This was one of the first pictures I took on my camera, I was experimenting a little and I really like this shot. Granma gave me this bracelet, which her husband bought for her in Germany on one of their trips decades ago. I'm so honoured in a way that she gave it to me as it means a lot to her, so I never take it off.
